Chuck Clausen

There once was a website named Ondas del Lago (Waves of the Lake) created by Chuck Clausen. Chuck attended Escuela Bella Vista (EBV) in Maracaibo. His original intention was to create a website about EBV. The website became very popular and many people contributed content for Chuck to post. It grew to a site that was not only about EBV but about Maracaibo and it later grew to be about the whole expat experience in Venezuela. For some reason the site disappeared from the internet in 2012. No one was able to contact Chuck or figure out what was going on. Many people were very disappointed that the site was no longer available.

I (Randy Trahan) have undertaken to research the internet archives and recover as much as I can of the content from Chuck's website. I will post that content here. The Ondas del Lago website made extensive use of Adobe Flash, a program that is no longer supported. I may be unable to recover content that was posted in Adobe Flash files, but much of Chuck's web content was recoverable. There is a very large amount of content to post and it will take me a long time to post it all, if indeed I ever finish this project. I have begun posting recovered content on 9/3/2022. It is a work in progress. As I post more content more links will appear below.
