In august of 2008 I got an e-mail from Al Blank offering to share his pictures from a number of places in Venezuela. The pictures on this page are from the Caracas area and were taken between 1955 and 1958. I especially enjoy the pictures of the Humboldt Hotel and the Teleferico. In 1960 my Escuela Simon Bolivar graduating class made a trip to Caracas. We went Ice skating at the ice rink at the the top of the teleferico. Great memories!
