The panorama of Lagunillas below is a composite of three photographs taken by Steve Sleightholm in the summer of 1961.  The photos were taken from an oil derrick beside the dike.  I know, I know. All our mothers & fathers told us to stay away from oil derricks, but if Steve had not climbed the derrick, We would not have this great memory of Lagunillas.  Click on the photo to enlarge it.
