On Apr 8, 2026 Francisco Ramos wrote to me with the following information:

Hello Randy, Greetings. According to a 1942 map, there were two camps in Caripito:

1. La Floresta SS Camp - American personnel. In the area of the company hospital, I don't have the exact date, La Lomita Camp was created for upper management, and a Medical Camp for the hospital's medical staff. I don't know if they belonged to La Floresta Camp. La Floresta Camp remained for the American employees.

2. Porvenir VL Camp - Venezuelan workers and employees.

Then, in the late 1940s and mid-1950s, Porvenir Camp began to be divided, and the following camps appeared:
Porvenir Camp
Cayena Camp
Botecito Camp
Intermediario Camp
Las Palmitas Camp
Paraiso Camp
Canta Rana Sector - with 8 houses and a separate entrance and exit.
Bello Monte Camp. This is one of the last to be built.
