Subject: genealogy user group blocked

Customer Suddenly I'm no longer able to get e-mails from legacyfamilytree.com. Please have them added to your white list so I can start getting my e-mail!!!!!
Tech Support We do not know that they are blocked. Ask the sender if they're receiving a bounce message and if so try to obtain and post here. Only when we see what it says can we be of further help.
Customer They do not get a bounce message.
Tech Support Without a return we have nothing to troubleshoot with, unfortunately.
Customer What's to troubleshoot? I've been getting e-mail from this group for years - now I can't - I'm subscribed - they told me to tell you to put them on your white list - what else do you need?
Tech Support As you've been told, we need a non-delivery/bounce message. (My comment: I love this one; AS YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD!!)
Customer Come on. Help me out here. Do you know what a white list is? It must be some kind of list that tells you what websites are blocked by ATT. You're more knowledgeable than I am about these things. You know how things get blocked by ATT. I am getting upset here! There has to be a way you can help me, please!!!!!!
Tech Support We do not have access to the mail server configuration. We have to rely on the bounces for the actual IP addresses of blocked sending severs -
It's not done by domain name and it's not done by recipient address. Without it we can't start the un-block process.
Customer Okay, you win, I don't get the service I want from ATT, you don't have to help your customers, we're all happy, right?
Tech Support I'm sorry I couldn't be of greater help in this instance.
Customer And it seems I'm not the only one you can't help with blocked e-mail!!!!! Mostly what I see is no one can help - we're just paying, paying, paying, but not for service!!!
